Better use a shampoo and a hair conditioner to assure that your hair scalp is as clean as you want it to be

To prevent damage caused by straightening iron, it is advisable not to use them everyday. Lessening and reducing the heat applied to the hair will greatly minimize the effects and damages.
Straightening irons sold in the market today usually have a heat control that will let you control the amount of heat to style your hair with.
Use hair products that will protect your hair from the damages caused by a straightening iron. Let yourself get used to using a vitamin enriched hair product before using the iron.

hairgelMany love hair gel mainly because it is cheap and it works well to keep the style you desire all day. There is however a very dangerous side to using it that a quick scan of the ingredients/components section(if there is one) located at the back level in the teeny-tiny print. You’ll find some nasty industrial chemicals that are within such as formaldehyde or embalming fluid, propylene glycol or anti-freeze and other industrial chemicals that may be causing your excessive hair fall lately. Manufacturers will swear on the safety of their products and say the quantities are so minimal to pose a serious threat to your health. Protect Hair and Skin with Satin Pillowcase

Most of us wake us in the morning with our hair a mess. According to hair care experts that Satin Pillowcase is uniquely designed to help prevent the cuticle heating up during the night as the head moves around and puts pressure on the hair because the head and hair flows over the satin. The unique construction of the Beauty Pillow with satin pillowcase allows the satin to flow even easier and is also better for your skin in helping to prevent facial creases caused by the face lying in the same position for an extended time. A cotton pillowcase may feel soft and highly absorbent causing it to draw moisture from your hair and skin while you sleep. The natural oils found on the scalp are uniformly distributed along the hair shaft with the simple act of brushing, but these oils are then absorbed by the cotton, drying it and making it more brittle. The weave of the cotton is also abrasive tending to grip individual strands of hair causing them to break and the hair to tangle. This is why your hair can look such a mess when you wake in the morning.

Hair condition

Hair is a remarkably tough material. It can stand up to considerable abuse, but over time this can wreak havoc with its natural properties. In particular, its porosity can be badly affected, so that it breaks easily and cannot be styled satisfactorily.

On the other hand, we can recognise hair that is in good condition. It shines, it is easy to manage – it just looks good. Even though the hair shaft is technically ‘dead’, in that its cells are no longer dividing, we may describe it as ‘healthy’. So why can its properties change so much that the hair loses this ‘healthy’ appearance?

Sometimes this may be due to a medical condition such as poor nutrition: starvation or anaemia due to a lack of protein in the diet can damage the hair. In famine conditions, some people’s hair changes as it grows from black to gingery-red if they cannot get enough protein.

Moisturizing is the Answer

3.jpgOur hair is like our skin. It needs enough moisture to stay healthy and shiny. But due to excessive styling and even shampooing, our hair is robbed of the moisture level that it needs.
To avoid having dry brittle hair, always use a conditioner after every shampoo and apply it to the lower part of your hair. At least once a week, deeply condition your hair to replenish it from its lost moisture.
Some hair products contain alcohol. To protect the level of moisture in your hair, avoid using these kinds of products because they deprive your hair from the moisture it needs making it more prone to damage.

1. USE A MILD SHAMPOO
If you are not the type of person who uses a lot of gunk and chemicals for your hair, you really are not in need of a shampoo that deeply cleanses. A perfect product to use would be a baby shampoo since it would less likely irritate your scalp.

2. USE A CONDITIONER
There are different kinds of conditioners for different types of hair. Use a conditioner to prevent further damage of your hair.

3. BE CAREFUL IN TOWEL – DRYING YOUR HAIR
Towel-drying will break the strands of the hair. Instead of scrubbing, blot your hair to dry.

4. COMB YOUR HAIR
Wet hair is fragile than dry hair. Use a wide-tooth combed to detangle your hair when wet.

Alopecia (Hair Loss)

Losing up to 100,000 strands of hair every day is normal–old hairs do fall, and these are replaced by new ones. But not losing all! Losing all is an abnormal condition called alopecia. It becomes obvious when the rate of hair fall is more than the rate the hair is replaced. The person either becomes bald or have hair patches. When you see these happen, see a doctor immediately, before it is too late. The doctor may be able to prescribe drugs that could either prevent the condition, perhaps slow it down., or grow new hair. The hair is similar to the other parts of the bodies–one should have a healthy diet, if one wants to keep fit, and that includes your crowing glory–the hair. Also, keep your hair, as much away from the sun.
